Snow doubled in number as the day transitioned into the evening hours. Unfortunately, none of the patients were allowed the time to enjoy the weather changes. They were instead greeted by the telltale jingle of the intercom, signaling their cue to return indoors

The Doctor frowned. It had been there every day for over a week now, so where had it gone...?
He turned to look around, and it didn't take long to spot the metal box marked with the same number from the dog tags. Pulling the lid off and rifling through revealed all his effects: his coat, his suit and his trainers, his sonic screwdriver, the stethoscope and other miscellaneous items he'd picked up from around the Institute...
Odd. While he had relatively few doubts that the staff knew all about their possessions-how else would he have gotten his clothes (with pockets that weren't bigger on the inside), and how else would they have been repaired after ( ... )
