Once everyone was inside, the door closed shut behind them and the sound of a lock clicking echoed loud and clear in the hall. Harvey glanced around, realizing that this corridor was almost an exact replica of the one on the other side of the ballroom. That made things simple enough, and it seemed that he'd been right to assume that there were two paths here as well.
He walked briskly down the hall until he reached the two doors at the end before glancing over his shoulder at Depth Charge. "So which one have you been through before?" Maybe the guy had mentioned it already, but Harvey hadn't been paying complete attention while the other five had been sending comments back and forth. "Scott's right, you guys should take that side. It's better to head to a place where you know what to expect. Jones, Spandex Kid, and I can deal with the unknown." (He hadn't forgotten that the kid was called Spider-Man, but he just couldn't say that with a straight face.)
It wasn't like facing the unknown was much of a change from what he and Jones had already dealt with during their nightshifts together, so Harvey was willing to take the plunge. It wasn't as if they had much of a choice, anyway.
