Really, if she was going to make any progress in hunting around, she was going to need to check everything -- and while that didn't necessarily include the hallway where she'd hallucinated everyone dying, for the time being, it did include every door that she came across. Back out in the hallway, she continued down to try the rest of the doors. The first was a men's restroom and she immediately shut the door on impulse on that one. Then again, it wouldn't hurt to check. If she was going to hide stairs, she couldn't say for sure that they wouldn't be tucked away in the stall of a bathroom.
So, she headed inside, peeking around stall doors. And, when she realized that there wasn't anything but toilets and sinks and urinals in there, she moved on to find the women's restroom next door and repeated her efforts. All in vain. But hey, at least no one could say she hadn't checked. Satisfied, she continued down to the end of the hall.
