It wasn't long to one of the food places, and she moved inside, glancing back to see if he had followed. Therein, she walked to the line of people ordering, glancing up at the menu above the counter.
...Meat, grease, fats. Hm. Perhaps she would continue to maintain to eat nothing here. She sighed mildly, then saw two salad options in small text at the corner. Lettuce it was, once again. She ordered, then waited for Byrne to take his turn.

After Renamon finished ordering, Byrne walked up to the counter and promptly ordered a giant cheeseburger with everything on it and fries. Could he really get all of this with just a coupon? As he set down the burger for a moment, he looked down at his tray as his expression went from a casual smile to a serious stare. Alright. It was about time he grew a pair and came out with it. No sense in avoiding the issue any longer, especially if they were going to discuss any institute-related theories. No holding back now. Just say it. But the smile faded quickly as he was reminded of the things Badd told him the night before. Things he really didn't want to accept but knew he had to. He was going to die. Kay would be in danger. She'd grow up without him. Badd would be pained for years. His killer was someone he trusted with his life. And he was taken away, brought here just minutes before it would all happen? But...
