It looked like the day was nearing its end, and Anise still had plenty of money to spend. The way the sky darkened well before the end of the trip was a bit unnerving. Did the monsters come out at sundown, or did they come out at a specific time chosen by the institute staff...? Whatever the case was, she supposed she ought to stay on her guard

She shivered, and it had little to do with the cold. But it was cold. Still wanting to find Anise, she began to wonder if it was possible in the time they had left in Doyleton. It surely wasn't much. Not enough, either, to explore every store as she also desired. She hugged the baggy given to her in the morning to her chest, that which now had her second headband carefully folded. (Wider, a slightly different style from the one she currently wore). Her attention moved from shop to shop, when her eyes fell on a fruit stand ( ... )

She didn't get to check right away, as she was interrupted by the sound of her own name... in the voice of someone she definitely didn't expect to encounter so soon. "Natalia!!" she gasped as she whirled around. Sure enough, the princess was right there with her, even though Anise had confirmed her disappearance last night! Or... was she wrong?
"Where have you been!?" she asked, her tone more bewildered than accusing. "I looked for you last night, but you weren't in your room, and they said it wasn't your room anymore, so I thought..." Anise was practically babbling now, and she stopped herself before she got too unintelligible. Once she caught her breath, she looked up at Natalia, trying to see if she could spot any obvious signs of injury or distress. When she didn't find any, she asked in a quieter voice, "... You're okay?"
