If there was one thing the coup improved, it was the intercom announcements. Nothing long-winded, no rantings of a mad man. Short, efficient, or better yet, nothing at all.

Dinner hadn't been terribly eventful, which wasn't such a bad thing. After what the staff put Mason through, they needed some quiet. It was just too bad the military fed a lot of the patients that nasty slop. There was no way Claude could let Mason go without normal food, so he always felt like he needed to share.

At any rate, now was the time to focus on tonight. Having changed into his uniform and collected his sword, Claude moved toward the door. Leon's absence still weighed heavily on his mind, but he hoped he could possibly get some answers later down the road. Until then, he couldn't afford to let himself mope around too much. What if Leon was really around? He didn't want to prematurely give up on the boy.

After wishing Mason a good night, Claude stepped out into the hallway.
