[From here.]As Castiel exited the room block he'd been assigned to, it occurred to him that Gabriel had not caught up with him this time around. That was for the best. He had a difficult time shaking his brother off in this place, seeing how he couldn't disappear at the snap of a finger. If he'd had to bring his brother along on his lesson with ( Read more... )

Gamzee followed Ritsuka down the hallway, glancing around with a similar amount of curiosity as what he'd shown the night before. Things hadn't gotten any less interesting, after all, and he still needed to see if he could catch glimpses of any of his fellow trolls in passing. So far he hadn't had any luck with that.

Oh, but his roommate had asked a question, hadn't he?

"I just all found myself up in that motherfuckin' bed last night. Ain't been here all that long at all, I guess." Though one's definition of long might vary. It was at least better here than in the Veil, though having his friends around would be even more preferable.

The adults all left the children behind? Ritsuka glanced up at his new roommate when he said that, frowning. Were the adults (troll adults? that was weird to think about) that irresponsible or was it simply that the children were that self-sufficient? Gamzee didn't seem particularly upset that he'd been left behind by the adults despite his word choice, but then he didn't seem upset by much of anything. He had brought that horn with him, too.

As they walked, Ritsuka wondered if saying about the adults was wise. Gamzee seemed more interested in where they were going than what they were talking about, which probably meant the subject was off limits. Fair enough. Ritsuka didn't like talking about his family either.

"Then hopefully someone's told you about this place," he commented, moving forward. After one day and one night here, it was likely, but seeing as today had been Doyleton, it was possible that he hadn't heard. At least, he had to have seen, right?
