Night 56: Waiting Room/Lobby 1

Rapunzel eased the door open, switching the flashlight back to her free hand and taking a quick sweep of the area before entering. Nothing moved or made noise except Ippo and herself. Rapunzel took a few more steps inside, breathing quietly. She waited, half-expecting something like the monster she had seen on the first night to come leaping out from under a table. After waiting a few more moments, though, there was still nothing. If anything was lurking here, it didn't seem to want anything to do with them. Satisfied with that, Rapunzel let out a sigh of relief.
"All right, I think we're good," she said, pulling the rest of her hair into the room and then closing the door behind them. She extended a hand toward the closest set of chairs. "Here, have a seat, take the weight off your ankle. You're gonna want to be sitting anyway. This may…surprise you a little." She gave Ippo an awkward smile. "To, uhh, say the least."
