Varying opinions aside about the new caretakers, the efficiency of the military was worthy of some admiration. The Great Escape ended with minutes to spare, and the staff wasted no time in dismantling the equipment in the Sun Room. Well, music had been a joy and the company enlightening, but back to the rooms for dinner reminded Gant once again of where he was. In a mental hospital, stuck in an insufferable routine that had become even more insufferable with the new goop they were served for dinner. But Gant didn't much care now. He had gotten to eat good last night, and even if it wasn't steak and fries, he still had a few apples and oranges from last night. Fruit was definitely better than goop.

Ignoring the pink crap on his desk, Gant moved to the bed and sat down, waiting for his roommate to return before daring to take an apple out of the box. If he was caught with that, even if they gave it back for the night, it would surely be confiscated. He went through a lot of hard work to get that apple! He had to deal with Mike Meekins all of last night! He sure as hell wouldn't appreciate losing it after all of that.
