As she turned on the tap, it was hard not to think about how close she came to drowning just last night. She couldn't thank Claude or Guy enough for rescuing her from that. Anise's leap of faith was supposed to make them even, but now that they stuck their necks out for her once again, it looked like she still owed them. Anise was probably the only one keeping tally on those kinds of things, though.
When she was done showering, Anise felt a little refreshed. She'd been feeling a bit under the weather all day, and a good meal followed by a warm shower was doing her a lot of good. She supposed she should try to relax a bit before nightfall. If they were going to try going back to that cavern, Anise had to be at her best.
