To Lily, showers were a natural aspect of the day, much like mediocre food and being ordered around by voices over speakers. It wouldn't be right to say that this place was like her home--it was different in countless ways, most of them good--but for her, the familiarity that many people felt when first entering the greenhouse or recreation field

Sakura had spent most of the day feeling exhausted, worn out, and bitter at the world. The shower helped, if only a little. She kept it brief, wishing that some of her worries and sorrow could slip down the drain as easily as the day's dirt and grit. Still, she took the time to enjoy washing her hair, even if it was a small luxury.

She dressed quickly and combed the pink locks, even if they were damp and lacking their usual luster, then headed back out into the Sun Room.
