As he walked into the next hallway, Niikura suddenly remembered when he'd come here last. It had been with Badd, that fortuitous meeting where their great love for one another had finally begun.

...no, what was he saying? He and Badd were as far removed from friends as possible (mostly by Badd's doing), although if Gant was to believed, the two were not far apart in their interests.

He'd have to remember to follow through on that little tidbit tomorrow. If Badd was as Gant said, if he was also a vigilante...okay, their methods were still different. But still, it did add a rather interesting twist to the whole affair.

They reached the wider hall that connected to all the girl's cells. Shiina wasn't certain where they were heading from here, so she allowed Shou to take the lead.

She didn't want to travel in silence, so she started in with a question. "So, your friend. What is he... or she like?" She had only met Tsubaki and Tear today, so she doubted it would be either of them in this large asylum of captives. It was always possible, but very unlikely.

"Eh? Oh, uh..." How to describe Mike without making him sound really sketchy...this was kind of a stretch. The plus side was that Shiina already trusted his judgment when it came to pretty much everything, so it wasn't like he needed to be particularly convincing.

Actually, he could probably be honest, and she would still put her faith in him. It was nice having someone around who actually took him at his word, now that he thought about it. It was nice having someone he knew, even if they only knew each other by a long, convoluted process that only irritated the hell out of him.

Anyway. Back to the point. Mike.

"...his name's Mike. I dunno, it's kinda hard to explain." Niikura grimaced as he usually did when he was being especially awkward. "Short, soldier-y type, y'know? Older, bit like a drill sergeant, that sort." He shrugged. "Mostly a guy that ya can't really hear about second-hand."

With luck, there would be no mutant turtle moments either, tonight; that would just ruin everything.
