Running. Snow was only focused on running, on moving forward. Standing still wasn't really much of an option here anyway. Not unless you wanted to go and get yourself shot.
Gunfire was pretty much the only thing he could hear. Guns and explosions. Sometimes close, sometimes far away. If you really wanted to pay attention and if you tried hard, you could pick out screams. It was amazing how it just took over everything. Filled his mind until it was all just a loud background buzz. Noise. The lovely sounds of the Sanctum's Purge initiative to migrate the residents of Bodum down to Pulse. ... "Migration" his freaking ass. It was a damn battle zone!
...No, this wasn't even a battle. It was a straight out massacre. Military versus civilian.
