Still no sign of people, not even the sounds of whispers or footsteps from down the hall. What was going on? Zero quickened his pace, keeping a sharp eye out for trouble while listening carefully for any sounds beside his own footsteps. So far, there was nothing. Just a giant empty hallway.
...These hallways couldn't be all of this place. What else was here? And what did the world look like outside the institute's walls? Zero had yet to be taken outside, and there were few windows besides the ones in the Sun Room. Where were all the Reploids, the other human civilizations, the Resistance? Too many questions, so few answers.
He kept moving along to the next hallway.
