Having exited the patient block, Harvey realized that he was actually left with two options here. Even though his instinct was to head to the right like he always did, a small part of him wanted to throw all caution to the wind and go out onto the field and over the wall to go trudging through the wilderness. Except that he then remembered that all of the past times, he'd done that with Jones, and --
Yeah, it didn't seem like such a great idea anymore.
Was he going to be seeing the man's ghost at every turn? Not literally, of course, but it seemed far too easy to remind himself of Jones. He wished he could block it all out, but this time yesterday the guy had been breathing and talking and for the most part, he'd been perfectly fine. Just like that, everything had changed. Again.
Harvey shook his head and swung to the right, stalking down the hall. He couldn't keep thinking about that.
