Back to the main hallway it was. Anise tucked the thank-you note and the small paper plate into her jacket and pulled out her miniature flashlight. Now she was ready for anything! ... Almost anything, anyway.
She needed to decide on a destination. Most of the places to find good supplies were upstairs, but that was kind of dangerous while she was by herself. Anise remembered the General's rant from the previous night, and how the Medical Wing was supposedly open... Maybe she could find some medicine there, or something. It wasn't too far from where she was, so Anise started walking in that direction.
