The ground snow grew thicker the closer they drew to the forest ahead, and the air cooler. For once in her life, Utena kind of regretted wearing nothing on her legs but thin bike shorts. At least she knew that if they kept moving, kept running, she could stay warm enough to not freeze.
"Still doing okay?" Utena asked back over her shoulder to Renamon about mid-way to the forest. She paused then as another question occurred to her on the heels of the first. "By the way: how do you guys know each other?" she asked the both of them, realizing that she'd probably been pretty rude in not saying much to Tear directly so far. "You been working together long?"
