As he stepped out with his fontech light taking in the entire hallway, Luke saw that he wasn't the only one still starting venture out of his room. Many were conversing and it was obvious, even to Luke, that there was tension in the air. Hopefully, he wasn't the only one completely out of the loop about what those sirens had been blaring about.
The low buzz of conversation was punctuated by random thumbs and bangs against a distant wall, which didn't do much to bolster the teen's optimism. This place was really messed up at night. He didn't even need glowing pink walls to tell him that.
Regardless or how he felt or what he didn't understand, he needed to meet up with Tear and--and what? Apologize, shrug everything off? How was he suppose to act?
"Oh, man..." Luke groaned before breaking into a sprint down the hallway (One thing he knew, he didn't want to give Tear ammunition for being late). This was going to be awkward!
