He wasn't surprised that England had the same ideas as he did about annexing the Institute. What he was surprised about was the amount of things getting in their way. Once their talk was done, Japan had started moving down the hall toward his ultimate destination of the night, only to have monstrous cats jump out of the dark and try to...claw him to death, he supposed. While cat scratches were annoying, as a nation, they weren't much to worry about. And as a nation with a Japanese made katana, he was able to dispatch the malformed beasts before the commotion could attract much attention.
Flicking the blood from his blade, he slid the sword back into its sheath and turned to look at England. "I apologize for the display. It seems tonight won't be easy, but are you alright?"
