Day 26: Intercom, Beginning of Night
"Welcome, welcome, everyone, to a show that will excite all watchers and frustrate all contributors!" The intercom came on loud and surprisingly clear, the Head Doctor's voice booming through the hallways. "For this is Landel's of the Damned, and those who don't survive the slaughter are those whose incompetence earns them no pity."
A woosh of air and some chuckling followed, along with a long sigh.
"We wonder, dear friends, which of our stellar students will take down the biggest scores? Yes, for near the halls of medical knowledge, we have a man whose background is as varied in bloodshed as it is with flora and fauna. In the field, we have a female as seemingly pretty as a flower, though beware the well-learned attacks she might bring down upon you. In the Sun Room is perhaps our most experienced student in the betrayal of his peers for a higher cause, and of course, don't forget our teachers that tend to show up every night..."
The Head Doctor laughed again, this time louder. It finally died down enough for him to finish with:
"And of course, underground, you'll find a whole new playground with which you can hide from those better students. See if you can prove yourselves worthy of the end, though, and then... you might meet your maker."
The intercom clicked off, and with it, the doors unlocked.
