Aidou stepped inside, closing the door behind. There was noise--the sounds of prisoners starting to collect themselves for the night--from the rooms around him, but nothing and no one in the immediate vicinity.
He really had to start designating a meeting place or something, because the vampire thought having to make the entire distance himself just to collect one measly ex-human was a waste of time. Enough time had been wasted already, which Aidou’s pride wasn’t going to let him forgive easily, and any means of quickening the pace would be appreciated.
Honestly, there was always the option of not bothering, letting Kyon grapple with his bloodlust on his own… The noble pursed his lips, repressed another sigh, and crossed into the hallway to M37. Unfortunately, he’d been raised better than that.
