Nightshift 39: Cafeteria

Mar 08, 2009 11:17

[from here]

At first Kagura wasn't so sure that she was in the right place. Earlier the cafeteria was filled with lots of people, food, noise and light. But now the place was dark and eerily silent. Kagura walked on, running her hands on the table she had eaten her lunch earlier, wary of her surroundings.

Somebody might be taking the advantage of the darkness to attack.

Like pedophiles.

But then she could always hurl a table at one, kick him in the 'nads and run away to the nearest police station where they'll probably fuss over a few papers and let the case rot in their drawers and use "the government doesn't fund us enough" as an excuse.

She looked under the table, checking if she was really alone, and hopefully for some left-overs. Mostly for the leftovers.
