Sasuke kept his sword at the ready as he stepped into the room. Past this point it was more or less Aidou's show, and even if Sasuke had realised that (specifically requested it, really), it was nonetheless somewhat irritating. Itachi's death should have been something of his alone.
But facts were facts, and this fact meant that Sasuke needed to be ready to handle any threats that jumped out of the room for any reason, to ensure that Aidou would be able to search for the correct file. Assuming that the vampire was following, Sasuke advanced into the room silently, listening for any movement that might not be theirs.
