If it wasn't for the fact that this night was growing gradually more absurd by the minute, Rolo would have been mildly surprised to find that the room he just entered looked like a chapel or church of some sort. He also should have been surprised to find what sounded like a fountain all the way in the front of the room, situated where an altar would be. Normally, Rolo would have questioned the strangeness of this room, but he already accepted that everything in this place was strange and it was just better to just proceed with caution instead of wondering about it. If this was really a 'trial' or 'test' of sorts, part of the strategy was probably trying to confuse them and Rolo wasn't going to fall for that.
Overall, Rolo's quick glance of the room turned up nothing interesting aside from the fountain, but he wasn't going to leave the room so quickly when there was a creature lurking outside that they just avoided. For the time being, he supposed there was no harm in examining the room a little more thoroughly.
"Interesting place," he commented dryly. But was it safe? He would leave that assessment to Teresa, since her senses were clearly more developed than his.
