[Breakin' down doors since
2813~]
Though Edward didn't look like he were about to attack, Venom remained cautious regardless as he entered this new room. He'd been trained to not let his guard down in a situation like this and kept the wooden bar held firmly in one hand, refusing to let it go. Unfortunately, for what he had planned, he wouldn't be able to completely keep an eye on things and would therefore have to put some amount of trust in this strange boy.
He didn't want to trust anyone on such short notice, he really didn't, but it was necessary. In order to have some sort of calm and reduce chaos for the rest of the night (because he wanted to get something done, damn it. He was going to make progress tonight), it was, sadly, very necessary.
He motioned for the other two to wait by the desk in the northern corner of the room as he himself made his way to examine the rest of the room, scanning for anything useful. Sedatives, sedatives... There had to be something if this institute wanted any credibility in their facade. Venom kept searching the shelves, fingers trailing over the labels, his back to the others even when he gave out more orders to the more coherent of the two. "Keep Edward occupied for a moment. I don't care how."
