No Jason out here, either. God, why was Harvey even still checking? He made a conscious effort to put the kid out of his mind. He didn't need a partner to wander around at night, even though the rational part of him knew that solo work in this place was tantamount to suicide. His life clearly didn't mean as much to him as it once had, and so he found he wasn't so bothered with wandering the halls alone.
Besides, it was easy enough to run into other aimless people here. Not that he was aimless, but there were a lot of patients who were, so--
He'd just leave things to fate for once. It wasn't like he had any other option. Either he ran into a potential traveling partner or he didn't. No one around here seemed like a viable option, and so Harvey started down the hall toward the stairs.
