Night 47: M111-M120 Hallway
Edward had taken off a while ago, leaving Niikura alone in the room to figure out his options. The flashlight he found under his pillow just as his roommate had told him, and further searches also revealed the pens that Edward had referenced and a pair of boots in the closet among other items. If it was true and there were actually monsters here, he would have to be prepared. The flashlight had some weight to it, and Niikura figured that it would do as a weapon of sorts. The boots he also took; he could hardly run at all in the slippers they'd stuck everyone in.
Preparations were complete, and now he had just one thing left to resolve: his goal. He'd already said he would escape, but he didn't have any direction - literally. Maybe tonight he would just get his bearings, test out the local fiends, and see where he was; later he could get around to properly making it out of this place unscathed. He had to take things one at a time, even if his time was short; if he rushed, he would make some irreparable mistake.
DAfter doing one last check to make sure he was somewhat properly equipped, Niikura opened the room door and stepped outside into the hallway. Hardly anyone was moving along outside his door, but close by he could hear footsteps and snatches of voices.
Turning his flashlight on, Niikura began moving cautiously down the hallway. Time for some nighttime adventures.
