His head spun, and frantic, his eyes moved to the corners, seeking out dark spots. Looking for the places the shadows would hide. But that was neither here nor there, and again, Albedo stepped forward as he did before, calling to the beast on the great pedestal.
"You play a game correct?" The tone lacked nothing in confidence but was without the mocking it had held the other night. Albedo held out his hands, a placation. "Then let's play."
