Three more patients before the interim between therapy slots.
It had been a rather uneventful couple of days, at least in comparison to those he was not always around for, but Daedalus didn’t find disappointment in the idle thought. His patient count had increased slightly from the time of his arrival (seventeen days, passing like a smiling purgatory), and although he was seeing more and more new patient files over returning ones--as today was an example--he liked how his schedule had turned out, arranged by the mysterious higher hands above him though it was.
The young doctor had had more interesting faces than usual this time. He didn’t think the trend was about to end just yet, either. That was still enough for him.
Another day clad in grey. Well, there was nothing wrong with that.
