Once he'd made it away from his room Yue tried to switch on his flashlight, but was rewarded with only a dim, flickering beam of light that was almost worse than having no light at all. He frowned at the thing, giving it a sharp blow that made the light brighten for only a handful of seconds, then sighed and moved on. Touya should have a light, shouldn't he? They could just share that, if his wasn't sufficient.
It took a very brief time indeed for him to reach the hallway he sought, and he really didn't need a light to show him the way after walking it so many times. Yue silently counted the doors as he passed, then paused outside of Touya's -- but hesitated a moment before knocking. He listened to the noises of the hallway, senses alert for any sign of danger, and only then rapped sharply against the door with the end of his flashlight.
