And there was still barely anyone around. As Harvey moved along, he found that his mind was still stuck on what had happened to Lunge. It wasn't that he felt guilty, of course, but he was curious about what the institute would want to do with a man like him. Harvey didn't know much about Lunge except that he was a detective who apparently came from Germany, that he barely spoke, and that he might be called paranoid. Chances were that if the man was around the following night, he wouldn't be willing to talk about what had been done to him.
Which meant that Harvey was going to be stuck wondering. Unless he got the news from Jones. It sounded like the two were friendly, so Lunge might tell him. Harvey hadn't had much exposure to someone who'd actually been taken for something like this, so he couldn't help but be interested ( ... )
