[from here]When he rounded the corner into the larger hallway, Kurogane determined to put the thoughts of being the only patient there aside. Even if that were the case, it didn't change his final goal for the night. The magician would have been helpful, but he was confident enough in his own ability to get things done

[from here]As they crossed the hall toward the staircase, Indy remembered how differently he and Pierson had approached it the first couple of nights: checking the area for guards, then darting across the open space like kids running across the street. Now he walked briskly and alertly, but without any real concern. Part of it was an acknowledgment of where the real threats were, but part of it was also complacency, and Indy wasn't crazy about it. It was frustrating that he was getting used to this place

The fact that he didn't have to immediately go searching this area for someone to team up with for the night put Harvey at some amount of ease. Considering the fact that he probably had blood pressure problems by this point, that wasn't saying much, but the point was that working with Jones was something he'd gotten used to. This was the third time that they'd just happened to run into each other at night, although the whole thing with the zombies didn't exactly count
