Nightshift 49: Male Nurse Prep Area

[From here]

Fully expecting to be charging out into rain, Gant was thoroughly disappointed when he felt not a downpour but just another wave of dizziness. Stumbling in the dark, he struggled to right himself and regain any composure he might have had left before Lana followed after him. Blinking, he gripped the flashlight in one hand and the candlestick in the other. Then he took a deep breath and looked around.

A tile floor, but not a bathroom or a kitchen. From what he could spot in the dim light the room was set up like a lounge. Yep, definitely not outside yet. He had almost been looking forward to the onslaught of rain. Then he would have at least had the option of just running away into the night. But no. They were once again somewhere they hadn't expected to end up. He had just about had it with the delusions, though he hid it with a smile. It was like this whole place was determined to make him lose his cool. Well, he wasn't going to falter again any time soon if Gant had any say in the matter.

"Don't suppose we're any closer to your sister now, are we?" Gant asked his old partner, not bothering to hide the sarcasm in his voice.
