His eyes revealed little more of note than his sense of smell had as they continued. Still, the peace didn’t reassure him so much as make him anxious--anxious to get through the challenging areas along the way to the basement, such as the Sun Room, where guard dogs often lurked with the intention of stopping them.
There could be no stopping. Even being slowed down was something he’d do what he could to avoid.
Considering the subject he and the others were currently discussing, it was fitting that the radios took that moment to turn on, the kind of coincidence Landel’s Institute revelled in.

Landel's trick last night had completely stopped this one's attempt to 'help' the patients, after all. (And the price of it had been -- whatever had happened to that man, a question that had been beyond Sasuke's subtlety to ask without so much as knowing his name or appearance. Just a voice; but the irony of the radio was that most of the Institute was in the same boat as Sasuke. Just a voice.)
Sasuke moved into the next hall in silence, listening to the broadcast with a frown.
