Yes, he has beer. No, it shouldn't result in food poisoning. Yes, this is for NS 42, not NS 41.
I was thinking, tagging-wise, it'd work like this:
A room post goes up from S.T. in the appropriate hallway, as soon as nightshift begins. Groups come in, thread amongst themselves, with added beer. S.T. may pop in for drive-by hellos -- a single tag, when I have a chance, with the assumption that he'll head out as soon as everyone reacts, without a second tag. If you actually want him to stick around, let me know OOCly ahead of time. (O.K., Spider does not get a choice in being pestered by S.T. But everyone else does.)
There won't be enough for any characters to be getting drunk, FYI. The only folks with completely-unfettered access to the supply will be S.T. and Spider, and both of them take a lot to intoxicate.
He's not going to be enforcing the trading rules, though he will scowl if you show up empty-handed and aren't on The Beer List.
The only other things that will get him to react without permission to threadcrash are likely a) trying to mess with his stuff, or b) some of the little kids showing up unchaperoned. Teenagers, have at the beer. Kids will get a WTF unless accompanied by someone who seems to be paying attention to them.
ETA: and no, he didn't ask his roommate before posting their room number and inviting the entire patient body. Dumbass.
