IMPORTANT: Activity Check #6 - 8/21/09 through 8/28/09
ACTIVITY CHECK.
REPLYING TO THIS POST IS ABSOLUTELY MANDATORY FOR ALL PLAYERS. FAILURE TO REPLY TO THIS POST, REGARDLESS OF CURRENT ACTIVITY, WILL RESULT IN AN INACTIVITY STRIKE.
The only people excused from participating in this Activity Check are players who are already listed as being on hiatus here (or who have already made a hiatus announcement to the lounge) and characters/players who were/are accepted for the 14th cycle. However, if a player comes back from hiatus during the course of the Activity Check, or if only a portion of a player's characters are listed as on hiatus, they must still comment.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
1. Go find the latest posts made to damned by your character(s) before this Activity Check post was made.
(Both damned and damned_lounge should show your own personal local timezone as the time stamps, as far as I understand; let me know if there's any problem/confusion regarding the time differences.)
2. Get the links for each of those threads, as well as the day/location/shift that they took place in.
(Click "thread" at the bottom of your character's most recent RP post (NOT the beginning of the current thread itself) or "link" in the header of the comment; then, copy-paste the URL.)
3. Comment to this entry with the form below.

WHAT WILL EARN YOU AN INACTIVITY STRIKE:
1. If you have not posted for one or more of your characters for two weeks or more before this Activity Check post was made, each of those inactive characters will earn an inactivity strike.
2. If you fail to respond to this Activity Check within the week specified (8/21/09 - 8/28/09) or if you fail to include links in your comment, you as a player will earn an inactivity strike regardless of your current activity.
3. If you attempt in any way to mislead us in terms of how active your character has been, your character will be immediately ejected from the game and you as a player will receive two strikes and be put on suspension for two weeks.
THE CONSEQUENCES OF INACTIVITY STRIKES:
1. For each inactivity strike, you will receive a formal warning in the form of an e-mail. In this e-mail, we will ask if you want to continue playing or drop. If you do not reply to this e-mail within a week, you will lose your claim to all of the inactive characters specified.
2. If one of your characters earns 3 inactivity strikes, they will be ejected from the game. If you have a clean activity record with your other characters, you may remain as a player with those active characters.
3. If you receive a third general strike as a player for your inactivity or if two or more of your characters receive three inactivity strikes, you will be ejected from the game as a player.
HOW TO AVOID BEING CAUGHT IN AN ACTIVITY CHECK:
Always tag posts with your character's name when you post him/her to them (since that's the way we determine inactivity outside of Activity Checks), and if, at any time, you notice a trend of inactivity with another player, please let us know in the Reports/Concerns Post. The very best way to avoid being caught in an Activity Check is to announce an official hiatus as soon as you realize you temporarily can't keep up with the game. We know the game is extremely, extremely demanding, and we completely understand needing to take a break, but you need to keep the mods and players informed to avoid any misunderstandings and so we can keep things organized.

If any otherwise active players happen to get caught by this particular Activity Check, we're sorry for the bad luck and we hope you'll make sure to announce your hiatus next time so that we won't have to catch you in our next one. After all, the reason we have these checks is to not make you guys pull your hair out but to instead ensure a healthy, active playing environment for everyone. ♥
