Anya can has vengeance nao?

If your character is male, feel free to ignore this. However, if your character is female, please read on.

Anya has a super-special sixth sense that requires some info. Essentially: has your character ever had a romantic relationship that is going badly/ended, and do they still have feelings about it? If yes, Anya can sense her!

In case you're worried: she WILL NOT be using this information to hunt/stalk anyone's characters unless such a thing is approved by the mun (and Anya's in the mood for stalking). Honestly, she doesn't even care about this, it's just something she senses whether she wants to or not. She won't tell anybody about what she senses, either, because demons do have ethics XD If you're still worried, give me a heads up and Anya just won't get anything off your character due to LANDEL'S MADNESS. But do let me know, because sometimes people don't respond to these things and then I go searching their wiki or something and feel like they'd fall into this category and have Anya sense something when that mun doesn't want me to and I don't want to step on any toes, so please keep me in the loop :D

Clarification and more specific cases: (beware of tl;dr)

Anya's a vengeance demon who specializes in avenging women who have been wronged by men (or women, if they're bi/gay). This means she has a sixth sense that allows her to know if a woman has been scorned in love. Her modus operandi is then to approach the woman, probably get her liquored up or at least talking about the slime buckets that are men, and casually get her to make a wish that she'll regret in the morning (ie. "I wish he was a worm and someone would step on him"). The exact phrase "I wish" must be used. Anya then grants the wish, and terrible things happen. Unfortunately, canon is incredibly vague about how her sixth sense works. But basically, she can sense these women's presence/whereabouts, but nothing specific about the nature of their angst.

So, if your girl has been in love and subsequently been dumped, raped, beat up, the guy stopped calling, anything like that, and she's still upset about it, Anya will be able to sense her.

This INCLUDES if the significant other died, whether they were murdered/committed suicide or if it was natural causes. The murder/suicide of a significant other would obviously be a more likely reason for a girl to show up on Anya's radar, but feelings of loss and abandonment after a natural death can sometimes lead to wishing ill on someone. (Maybe the doctor who didn't treat him well enough? Or maybe she hated him and wishes he would fry in the 7th circle of hell and get eaten by giant wasps for eternity?)

If your character is a psychopath (♥) and is annoyed with the guy because he doesn't call even though she only sets him on fire because she loves him, Anya WILL sense it. It doesn't matter if none of the right synapses are firing, since Anya can't sense anything about sanity or the exact nature of the problem, just that there is a problem.

In the case of a gold-digger (Anise would be an example? Check out the comment below), this would probably still count. If she gets mad when guys reject her because she just wants their money, she's still mad and she's still being rejected by a guy, even if she's not in love with him. Again with vague canon, but Anya's really only interested in getting a wish out of girls, so she would probably sense something like this if there was a shot at making the girl wish ill on one of her "boyfriends." As for Black Widows, she probably wouldn't get anything unless the Black Widow in question was annoyed about her husbands eluding death... or something. That's a tricky one. I guess give me a heads up and I'll try to figure it out on a case by case basis.

If your character and her significant other were broken up by a third party, either directly or by some devious machinations, this would count. The anger would just be directed at that third party instead of the significant other himself. If they were broken up by circumstances out of anyone's control, that's a bit trickier, but if your character blames someone about it - doesn't matter who or if the blame is even remotely rational - then it counts. Even if your character knows so-and-so is innocent, as long as she feels he/she is culpable (even just a little), it counts.

If a friend or family member (of either gender) lost/were rejected by/all this other stuff I've been talking about/etc their significant other, and your character is upset with that significant other on behalf of the friend/family member, Anya will probably get some sort of vibe but maybe not as strong. Again with vague canon DX

A good guideline would be: if the character is upset about it in any way and wishing they could kick someone (not necessarily the significant other him/herself) in the balls, Anya will know. Even if it's an idle wish that she'd really never go through with and she's the gentlest, sweetest, most forgiving girl on the planet and she'd take him back in a second.

Even if your character was in a situation like this but has since gotten over it, please tell me that, since, again, I do sometimes look for this stuff in a character's wiki and it doesn't always say whether or not a character is emotionally over their bad experiences.

EDIT 'cause I'm dumb and keep forgetting things: Anya can sense the DEGREE to which someone is hurting. A basic notion of what happened to the girl should give me an idea of what that degree would be, and if you've already responded please don't feel you have to amend your post. In the future, just a "she's REALLY miffed" or "she's only a little annoyed" is great :)

Thanks! :D
