I can commiserate with you, Lily. There are people that I hate to this day. There are just some things that happen that are so heinous you never want to see that person again.
In fact, I have an ex that once made me vomit when I saw him at the movies.

Believe you me, I know what you're talking about. You don't have to forgive and you sure as hell don't have to forget. Don't even worry about not even having the want to forgive.
I've actually have let a few people into my life again that I thought I never could. Which is...absolutely shocking, I know. But, my point in bringing that up is that if it is the right time and the right place and enough time has passed eventually you will kinda forgive, and sort of forget (it will always be in the back of your mind though). Like I said, if the conditions are just right, you will automatically forgive them without even realizing it. But that time may never come, so don't worry about it. If it does it does, if it doesn't it doesn't. Until then you can hate the person and curse their name! And trip them when they're drunk!
