That does indeed sound very Portland and very Oregon.
I hope you don't peak in your Oregonness next week though, because you still have another ten or eleven weeks of summer to get through! What do you have planned for the dog days of July or August.
I have a limited amount of vacation time, and my free time on weekends is booked with household chores and personal projects, so most months I don’t have any fun things scheduled. Keeping a low profile and working on things around the house is the general rule. There are a number of things scheduled for October, though… visiting my family… Oregon Handmade Bicycle Show in Portland… and Kumoricon 2016 in Portland. But nothing special betwen OCF in July and a very busy October. That is perfectly fine with me.
The great thing about Portland is that even without "doing something", there is a lot to do. A lot of neighborhood parks and other attractions in Portland that are just considered incidental things, would be considered really big attractions in other parts of the country.
