Ok, so at about 10:30 last night I heard someone's smoke detector go off in their apartment. yeah I know....between that idiot and the guy next door who empties his dishwasher at like 6am on Saturday mornings and bangs the wall with his stupid dishes and slams the cupboards closed, AND right now the stupid people upstairs are making an absolute racket! Hopefully they are moving out or something.

wow, sounds like an interesting night!! buddy must have been on something...lol what neighbors you have!! we have this bachelor guy who one night was so drunk when he came home that he was making his way across the hallway hanging onto the wall somehow..it was amusing but he's pretty nice when he's sober, nice when he's drunk too :P

yeah my building has some...'intersting' people living in it. I'm looking to move somewhere else. I'm sick of the thin walls and hearing the people around me all the time. This old man that lives next door to me empties his dishwasher at hideous times (2:30am once and usually 6am including Saturday and Sunday mornings) and his cupboards are on the wall that separates our suites and he bangs the dishes against the wall when he puts them away then slams the cupboards closed and it's so annoying! I wakes me up everytime. I wrote him a note making him aware of what he's doing and asking him not to do that so early in the morning and he had started doing it around 7 instead. well that's still too early on the weekends! I'm also pretty pissed at the building manager for not responding to the problem on Friday night. I wish I was rich and could buy my own house. That's a goal of mine someday tho :)

I think enless your going to move into a brand new apartment your going to hear neighbours in apartments. The only time I never herd anyone is when I lived downtown vancouver in the Canadian. Kosta and I live in a 2 year old condo unit in Banff and I always hear my neighbours music. Mind you we live in a block of units where there is a bunch of 18 year olds from all over the world gather to party and snowboard all winter. I wish i lived in a house with no one to share the walls, but the rentals in banff are worse than downtown Vancouver believe it or not.
