I never really realized it, not even when reading JK’s books how very clique the very system of Hogwarts School is to begin with. The Houses… they all categorize people. It's "only" 6 pages at 12 font on word. :P Not that long. If it was that long on using 10 font, then I'd be worried cause that's the general length of my short story fanfics lol

Woah. I love the way you characterised the four houses (as in the "true" version), especially Gryffindor and Ravenclaw. I think Hufflepuff also had something to do with acceptance - but I don't know if that's true in HOL/how true it is, and it definitely had something to do with what you were saying as well ( ... )

Fascinating, Rai. As it happens, I was never actually sorted by the sorting hat. I joined in Winter 2001, when you could do an exam and get "auto-sorted", so I can't comment on the HOL sorting questions ( ... )

PS.... The comparison with racism was very challenging. Maybe sometimes we just don't take house-bashing seriously enough... and maybe I need to rethink my knee-jerk reactions.
