So I have decided that the site is just another place to make me waste all my non-existent free time. Thanks to catscradle for twisting my arm into getting one. ;)

But seriously, it's like stalker paradise. I'm totally glad I didn't sign up with my real name. No one will ever find me - unless I want them to. >)

Yeah. I'm on with my real name, which makes me a little twitchy. I needed to for work at my last job, because universities, as it turns out, actually do scope Facebook for recruiting purposes. This also makes me twitchy.

But a whole lot of people from my radio job are on there, so I can keep in touch with them, at least.

It's so scary! Universities and lots of organizations now use facebook (and myspace, to a lesser extent) to network and recruit. Kinda creepy. Also, due to the nature of some of my writing *cough* I had to become very cautious of my aliases when I was working on Higher Ed.

That's actually a very good idea. Facebook seems to lend itself really well to networking. :) Good luck with the expansion.
