If a person goes on a date, what rules should be observed? What should be practiced? What should be the tradition? Or should there be really a tradition? Would you trust these rules and regulations or your feelings?
Honestly, I don't date just because I can get free lunch or dinner. I date because I want to get to know the person I'm attracted to. Now, getting-to-know a person doesn't necessarily mean I want to marry him. HELL NO! I've been married twice and been divorced twice also, I don't need another headache at the moment. I'm happy being single and independent. I support myself and don't need to depend on someone.
Anyway, there have been dates where it's mostly "dutch" and I don't really care. I can pay what I eat and drink or watch (referring to movies in theatres, that is.) as long as I won't pay what my date consumes. But then, it's good to find a man who knows how to treat a woman in a special kind of way. It's a plus for good points you know. (Again, good personality and attitude is what I'm after and not the free movie ticket!) However, you may be wondering what would be the limit on this kind of test. No one really knows.
So, it was frustrating to go on a date when my date was half-hour late and wouldn't even give proper notice of how I dressed up to look good for him. I know I sounded dramatic but it's not about drama. It's about appreciation. At least he could've made me feel important since he was already late in the first place, but no he didn't. I didn't complain though. (Wrong!) I do not step down to the nagging level. Besides, he's not my boyfriend anyway, and even if he was, I do not nag. I hate arguments, that's why I let him be the insensitive sarcastic arrogant. Worst was he didn't even take the initiative of buying me a drink. I bought myself a drink. (Well hey! I have my wallet with me... DUH!)
I need to find a new person to date. That's the best solution.
HAHAHA.
Oh well, I laugh at myself and my choices most of the times. So, just laugh with me.
