considering writing FanFiction

I am totally in love with fanfiction and i have read over a hundred of them, and now i am seriously considering writing one. I have a couple of ideas in my head but i am scared of it being horrible. I write great term papers and research papers, but I do not think i have ever attempted fiction. I really do not know if i should try

If you're nervous about writing, you could ask the Damon_Elena livejournal community for a Beta reader. =D

i spend so much time reading fic instead of writing lol.

if you're worried it's an excuse to re-watch every single episode of the show you're gonna write about so you know the characters really well :D

lol....i spend way too much time reading them lol...i feel like its my turn to try to provide entertainment for others like others have done for me lol...
