Today we had an early Southern down-home breakfast, courtesy of Harry - eggs, bacon, sugar-cured ham, biscuits, sausage gravy - and then took the girls to an early movie. I'm back from Kim's school. Having seen the place, I can understand why Kim doesn't like it. The place gives off a feel of disrepair, of decay. Stark surroundings, puke green tile and paint, packed with too many kids, most of them with expressions of defiance and hostility.
