To tip or not to tip, that is the question...

I found myself in an interesting predicament yesterday. Down the street from my apartment is an authentic Japanese sushi restaurant and I decided to go there for some take out. If you know how their culture feels about such things I'd say to try and respect their culture and not tip. Don't feel guilty if you don't know though and make a choice one way or the other.

Having foriengers in Canada is more about supporting their culture than instilling our own.

Next time tell them how much you enjoy their food and service and ask if they would accept a gratuity.

yummy sushi! We'll all have to go out for sushi one night. I really enjoy Toshi's on Gillingham.

Never been to that place, but yes, we must go out for sushi sometime. It's one of those meals best enjoyed with friends.
