It's been a while... I've been bad at both writing AND reading. Anyway, very nice post. I work for a newspaper and I hadn't even heard of the term "yellow journalism" before, although I WAS aware and annoyed of and by its existence!

Hey Marty! It has been a while...how are you holding up? Did you see the Comedy Monday parody of Back to the Future that I posted a while back? I was specifically thinking of you and your love of DeLorean's when I posted that...

Anyway, thanks for the feedback...while I'm not a journalist, I spend a lot of my time reading and analysing things, so it really, really bugs me when journalists don't put any effort into their writing (of course, isn't it their editor's job to call them on that before things get published?), especially on a subject where a simple google search would help with fact-checking.
