The last one is "Little Wing" by Jimi Hendrix (or the cover by Sting)?

1) A suspended ring or the mode of laughing.
Pebbles drawn from a heap.

Suzanne Vega "Predictions" (A song, I recall, that you turned me on to)

12) *LAUGH*..my playlist is saying hello to jetshade and talandra here….
Some guys think they can be winners.
Sometimes the prize goes to rank beginners

Number 12 is from Assassins "The Other National Anthem" (ans my hi back is to identify it)

Urm.

10 is the Spin Doctors off the Album Pocket full of Kryptonite, but I have no idea which song.

8 is a poem - but I don't know who set it to music.

I keep thinking 14 is Prince, but then I remember whose journal this is and realize, my, I'm so wrong. LOL

8's Loreena McKennitt, All Souls Night.

Damn, it's been years since I listened to that album. As a matter of fact, that was when they were still called albums...

Nicely done. Perhaps you feel better now after Duran Duran?

A bunch of her stuff is available on emusic...

I've got pretty much the entire catalog at this point. It just hasn't been germane writing music for me for a while, and sadly, the bits of my collection that aren't writing or driving music tend to languish.

When I lived alone I had the TV on very little, wasn't into audio book yet, and had music on most of the time.

Most my music listening has narrowed down to "entertaining enough for me to hear it when I am stuck on something but not so riveting that can't blank it out when I focus."

Frank bought me an ipod speaker dock for the kitchen and suddenly the whole world of "music I can cook too" has opened up!
