Well, Tia's 3 month stay in the hospital is over and reports are that the end was peaceful for her.

When I was a manager at FTP Software, Tia was working in HR when I had to fire one of my employees for the first time. She was extremely professional, knowledgeable, helpful and comforting. Because of her advice and support, things went much more smoothly than they would have otherwise. To this day, she remains my model of what a good HR person should be.
I also remember Tia playing the gypsy matriarch (I forget the character's name) in OtherWorld. She was fabulous in the role.
I'm sorry to hear of her passing.
