I'm writing this while listening to a family feud regarding a new treatment of rehabilitation for uncle. I kinda think with cases like this.. you're going to have to walk on faith and believe that God knows what he is doing for your family. People get really bad when something like this happens... Perhaps.. in all the conflict.. ur family is getting closer by the day without you knowing it.
It may not look it.. but it could possibly be better.

I hope University is going great for you! Well, yes. I hope they're getting closer. However, my cousin said something bad to my aunt, who is also her godmother and heaven forbid the time when those two see each other again! That day, if I were given the chance to become tiny and hide in an invisible hole, I would. I considered the option of locking myself in the bathroom with my MP3/Discman and in-the-ear earphones full blast. It was an utterly uncomfortable episode for me. Aunt (mother of my cousin) has been stand-off-ish with mother for the past two days. I link it to her being stressed because of a deadline for work, though. Still that doesn't make things easier. I don't have a place to call my own in this house (I gave my room to uncle) and our small (but OK for 4 people apartment) is crowded and then they fight. Sometimes I want to run away...
What doesn't kill us, does make us sronger, right?
